Mr. and Mrs. Robert Semder of Winfield, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Semder, to Peter Weems Zellmer, son of Dr. and Mrs. James Zellmer of Paducah.

Miss Semder is the granddaughter of Anderson Barnette of South Charleston, W.Va., and Hans Semder of Valley Stream, N.Y. She is a 2002 graduate of Winfield High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is an alumna of Chi Omega sorority. She is employed by Gibbons and Kawash in Charleston, W.Va.

Mr. Zellmer is the grandson of Wayne Boyce of Newport, Ark., and the late Phyllis Boyce, and Dr. and Mrs. Richard Zellmer of Sister Bay, Wis. He is a 2001 graduate of St. Mary High School and a 2005 graduate of Methodist College with a bachelor’s degree in business/professional golf management program. He is employed by Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.

Wedding vows will be exchanged March 3 at St. John United Methodist Church in Teays Valley, W.Va.
