Mr. and Mrs. Robin L. Breeden of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyse Rosanne Breeden, to Samuel Stephen Treesh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Treesh of Lexington.

Miss Breeden is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Slaton of Harrisburg, Ill., and Mrs. Carmen Breeden Wells of Paducah and the late Forrest Breeden. She is a 2006 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and a 2010 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in French and International Studies. She is pursuing a master’s degree in French from the University of Kentucky, where she is employed as a graduate teaching assistant. She is an alumna of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

Mr. Treesh is the grandson of the late John and Bernice Senger, and the late Glen and Jean Treesh. He is a 2005 graduate of Daviess County High School in Owensboro and attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green and the University of Kentucky. He is employed as a manager for Rafferty’s Inc. in Lexington.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Dec. 17 at First Baptist Church in Paducah.
