GILBERTSVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Hollingsworth of Gilbertsville and Germantown, Tenn., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends Saturday in Germantown.

Mr. Hollingsworth and the former Laverne Goodwin were married Dec. 1, 1961, in Lake, Miss.

Mr. Hollingsworth retired from BellSouth/AT&T with 44 years of service.

They have two children: Russell Hollingsworth of Reidland and Renee Hollingsworth-Mitchell of Knoxville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
