Billy Dick Jr. and Kimberly Jacobs Strickland, both of Paducah, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara Lynne Dick, to Justin Todd Shoulta, son of Todd Shoulta of Paducah and Donnie and Tracy Kilgore of Paducah.

Miss Dick is the granddaughter of Charlotte Dick of Paducah and the late Billy Dick, and the late Nita Jacobs. She is a 2009 graduate of Heath High School in West Paducah and is pursuing an associate degree from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa society and is employed by IHOP in Paducah.

Mr. Shoulta is the grandson of Mary Smith of Paducah, Don Shoulta of Paducah, and the late Lyndol and Barbara Baumgardner. He is a 2007 graduate of Reidland High School and is employed by IHOP in Paducah.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Woman’s Club of Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
