Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sanger of Hickman announce engagement of their daughter, Katherine Ellen Sanger, to Jordan Michael Hancock, son of Ms. Jill Harper of Clinton and Mr. Mike Hancock of South Fulton, Tenn.

Miss Sanger is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mabry, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sanger. She is a 2004 high school graduate of Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., and a 2008 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in agri-business. She is employed with the family farm.

Mr. Hancock is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Harper of Clinton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hancock. He is a 2004 graduate of Hickman County High School and is a self-employed farmer.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at First Methodist Church in Hickman. All friends and relatives are invited to the ceremony and reception following at the Hampton Centre in Union City, Tenn.
