Mr. and Mrs. Donald Niestrath of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Niestrath and the former Judy Ann Young were married Oct. 28, 1961, by Lake Riley at the home of the bride in Sharpe. Their attendants were Peggy Dew and Harry Niestrath.

Mrs. Niestrath is the director of Kids Kare West. She is the daughter of the late Stilley and Merle Young.

Mr. Niestrath is retired from Petter Supply Co. and is a part-time employee of Hank’s Hardware in Lone Oak.

They have three children: Sean Niestrath of Madisonville, Sharon Mitchell of Huntsville, Ala., and Shane Niestrath of Nevada, Mo.; and 12 grandchildren.
