Ronnie and Jody Flowers of Kevil and Judy Bean of Kevil announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Lynn Flowers, to Christopher Ray Volle, son of Stan and Marilyn Volle of Golconda, Ill., and Kim and Sharon Newbold of Golconda.

Miss Flowers is the granddaughter of Lena Flowers of Kevil and the late Jack Flowers, Jack and Barbra Bean of Paducah and the late Mary Lou Bean. She is a 1995 graduate of Heath High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing in 2000 from Murray State University. She is employed by Caesar’s Entertainment of Metropolis, Ill.

Mr. Volle is the grandson of Hubert and Dottie Volle of Golconda and the late Joffre and Mary Brent. He is a 1992 graduate of Pope County High School in Golconda and earned an associate degree in business management in 2009 from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Oct. 15 at San Damiano Retreat in Golconda. All friends and relatives are invited.
