Jean Marie Engstrom and Ronald Christopher Potter will be united in marriage at 6 p.m. Friday at the Robert Cherry Civic Center in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations have been sent.

Miss Engstrom is the daughter of Scott and Amy Engstrom of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of Floyd Miles and Agnes Sumner, both of Paducah, and Barbara Engstrom of Belvidere, Ill., and the late Ronald Engstrom.

Mr. Potter is the son of Gedget Thompson and Robert Council, both of Paducah. He is the grandson of Ronnie and Brenda Potter of Paducah and Paul and Joyce Walker of Paducah. He is a 2009 graduate of Reidland High School and is employed by James Marine.
