Mark and Pam Hammons of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Marcy Ruthann Hammons, to Joe Brennon Binkley, son of Mark and Jolene Binkley of Nashville, Tenn.

Miss Hammons is the granddaughter of Garry and Barbara Hoyt of Paducah, Patricia Hammons of Paducah and the late Harold Hammons. She is a 2007 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, a 2011 graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Ark., with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is pursuing a master of accountancy from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management.

Mr. Binkley is the grandson of Dorris Barnes of Old Hickory, Tenn., and the late Joe Barnes, and the late George and Pearl Binkley. He is a 2004 graduate of David Lipscomb High School in Nashville and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2008 from Harding University. He is employed by Health and Wellness Compounding Pharmacy in Nashville.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited.
