Quashea F. Smith and Kenneth Hurt Jr. will be united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited.

Miss Smith is the daughter of Guy and Melony Smith of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of Early C. Stone of Paducah and the late Ray Stone, Betty J. Smith of Paducah and the late Bennie Smith. She is a 2002 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Spalding University in Louisville. She is employed at Humana Military Health Care Services in Louisville.

Mr. Hurt is the son of Kenneth and Varetta Hurt of Paducah. He is the grandson of James and Ruth Sullivan of Trenton, Tenn., and the late Nathaniel Penn, the late James Hurt and the late Lewis and Elizabeth Pirtle. He is a 1996 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and is employed by Jewish-Saint Mary’s & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.
