Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Midyett of Paducah celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Midyett and the former Lucy Nell Bell were married Aug. 31, 1946, by minister Trine Starnes at his home in Paducah. Their attendants were Raymond and Lucille Carrigan.

Mrs. Midyett is the daughter of the late Dewey and Vadis Bell.

Mr. Midyett is a retired drug salesman for DuBois Son & Co. He is the son of the late William and Myrtle Midyett.

They have two children: Gary Midyett of Lone Oak and Marsha Green of the Oak Level community of Marshall County; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
