Stefanie Long and Jarrod Staggs will be united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Paducah.

Miss Long is the daughter of Ms. Becky Hicks of Cunningham, Jeff Hicks of Mayfield and the late Larry Long. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Jean Long of Cunningham, Patsy Burgess of Cunningham and the late Frayne Burgess. She is a 2004 graduate of Carlisle County High School, a 2008 graduate of Murray State University and earned her doctorate of occupational therapy degree from Belmont University in 2011. She is employed at Green Hills Health and Rehab Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Mr. Staggs is the son of Tom and FerRonda Staggs of Sikeston, Mo. He is the grandson of James and Nedria Brock of Sikeston, the late Edgar Culbertson, the late Eddie Vanover, Clare Staggs of Sikeston and the late Tommy Staggs, and the late Arlene McGill. He is a 2003 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School and a 2007 graduate of Murray State University with a degree in engineering graphics and design. He is employed at Designed Conveyor Systems Inc. in Nashville, Tenn.
