Sammy Crooks and Kim Crooks, both of Arlington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Elaine Crooks, to Kirk Daniel Arnold, son of Jim and Cindy Arnold of Cunningham.

Miss Crooks is the granddaughter of Joe Henderson and Joyce Kellett, both of Arlington, and Dorothy Crooks of Arlington and the late Billy Crooks. She is a 2005 graduate of Carlisle County High School in Bardwell and is attending Murray State University. She is employed by First Kentucky Bank in Bardwell.

Mr. Arnold is the grandson of Kent and Wanda Hays of Cunningham, and Lou Ferrell of Bardwell and the late Billy Joe Arnold Sr. He is a 2004 graduate of Carlisle County High School and a 2007 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He is employed by Derksen Portable Buildings in Hickory.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at Beulah Baptist Church in Fancy Farm. All friends and relatives are invited.
