Amy Rose Bowland and Mark James Sanders were united in marriage Aug. 20 at the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center with the Rev. Howard Atkinson officiating. Music was provided by the Paducah Symphony String Quartet.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bowland of Paducah.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sanders of Barlow.
The bride chose Mrs. Dana Green Barnett of Metropolis, Ill., as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Leah Bowland Faulkner of Lexington and Mrs. Laura Bowland Grumley of Paducah, sisters of the bride; Mrs. Nikki Weber Smith of Paducah and Mrs. McCall Robertson Yancey of Brentwood, Tenn. Miss Morgan Faith Sanders of Barlow, daughter of the groom, served as the junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Miss Bailey Grace Faulkner, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Faulkner of Lexington; and Miss Caroline Elizabeth Grumley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miller Grumley of Paducah. Ringbearer was Max Miller Grumley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Miller Grumley.
The groom chose his brother, David Sanders of Paducah, as his best man. Groomsmen were Glenn Bray, David Cox and Tony Logsdon, all of Barlow, and Timmy Crice of Kevil. Blake Edward Sanders of Barlow, son of the groom, served as junior groomsman.
A reception followed in the Myre River Room.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and a 1996 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Ballard Memorial High School in Barlow and earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health in 1994 from Murray State University.
The couple resides in Barlow.
