Don and Shirley Krone of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Bobbi J. Bell, to Stephen Lee McGee, son of Janet Modlin-McGee of Royalton, Ill., and the late Richard S. “Steve” McGee.

Ms. Bell is also the daughter of the late Bobby A. Walker. She is the granddaughter of the late Frank and Louise Powell and the late Robert “Skeet” and Zettie Walker. She is a 1994 graduate of Reidland High School and earned an associate degree in 2011 from Mid-Continent University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is employed by Sears Parts & Service and the McCracken County Board of Education.

Mr. McGee is the grandson of the late Clyde and Edna Modlin and the late Walter Stephen and Alpha Lee McGee. He is a 1978 graduate of Carbondale Community High School in Carbondale, Ill. He is employed as a product relocation specialist for Ferrell North America of Overland Park, Kan.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at Gospel Mission Worship Center. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
