Kara Nicole Long and Anthony Chase Parham will be united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday at Paris-Yates Chapel on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford.

Miss Long is the daughter of Randy Long of Naples, Fla., Ms. Shannon Green Long of Naples, Fla., and the late Dee Dee Long. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hook, the late Mr. and Mrs. Asa Long and the stepgranddaughter of Benny and Judy Green of Paducah. She is a 2003 graduate of Community School in Naples and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2007 from the University of Mississippi. She is an alumna of Kappa Delta sorority and earned a master’s degree in communications in 2010 from the University of Louisville. She is employed by the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Parham is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Edwards of Amory, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Parham of Amory. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Phillips of Amory, Mrs. Betty Miller of Amory and the late Paul Ray Parham. He is a 2002 graduate of Hatley High School in Amory and a 2008 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He is a staff writer for Rivals.com/Yahoo!
