Vince and Anita Doom of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa Kara Doom, to Justin Dale Reed, son of Joy and Mike Roach of Mayfield and Mark and Karen Reed of Kevil.

Miss Doom is the granddaughter of Larry and Betty Treas of Benton, Ivan Doom of Livingston County and Helen Doom of Benton. She is a 2007 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2011 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is employed by Corman, Bryan & Watts CPA in Mayfield.

Mr. Reed is the grandson of Larry and Elaine Hopkins of Mayfield, Billy D. and Norma Reed of Hardin and the late Janice Lowe Reed. He is a 2002 graduate of Northside Baptist Christian School and a 2007 graduate of Mid-Continent University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is employed by Harrah’s Metropolis.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. July 23 at Madison Hall in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited.
