Michael D. Henson of Aurora and Pamela Whybark of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Brooke Henson, to Clay Stewart, son of Bryan and Donna Stewart of Vine Grove.

Miss Henson is the granddaughter of Barbara Sirls of Hardin and the late Joe B. Sirls, and Harold and Marcia Henson of Aurora. She is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication in 2007 and a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication in 2009, both from Murray State University. She is employed by Creative Alliance Advertising Agency in Louisville.

Mr. Stewart is the grandson of Ernestine Stewart of Henderson, Tenn., and the late Clay Stewart, and the late Donald and Ruby Baker. He is a 1996 graduate of Hardin County High School in Radcliff and a 2004 graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in communication. He is employed by the Courier-Journal in Louisville.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 in Caldwell Chapel at the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in Louisville.
