Miss Tomlinson is also the daughter of the late Donnie R. Sherrell. She is the granddaughter of Martha Tomlinson of Paducah, Russell and Carolyn Tomlinson of Calvert City, and Mr. and Mrs. Rivie Shannon of Paducah. She is a 2003 graduate of St. Mary High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in justice administration in 2008 from the University of Louisville. She is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University and is employed by the Cabinet for Health in Family Services-Adoption Unit in Louisville.
Mr. Muir is the grandson of Barbara Padgett of Atlanta. He is a 2001 graduate of Trinity High School in Louisville and is employed by United Parcel Service in Louisville.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. June 11 at First Baptist Anchorage in Louisville.
