Mr. and Mrs. Wilma L. Newberry of West Paducah recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Newberry and the former Martha Ann Stevens were married April 28, 1951, at Bandana Baptist Church in Bandana.

Mrs. Newberry is a former teacher at Harmony Baptist Preschool and works part-time for Davis Clothing Store.

Mr. Newberry is a former Federal Aviation Agency air traffic controller for Barkley Regional Airport.

They have six children: Stan Newberry, Van Newberry and Jana Mansfield, all of West Paducah, Anne Newberry Nance of Murray, Daniel Newberry and Brandon Newberry, both of Kevil; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
