Johnny and Debra Sears of Lowes announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Sears, to Mark Rawlings, son of Greg and Donna Rawlings of Louisville.

Miss Sears is the granddaughter of Barbara Brown of Clear Springs and the late James T. Brown, and Glen and Marian Sears of Lowes. She is a 1999 graduate of Graves County sports_high_school and a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University. She is employed as the communications and media relations coordinator for West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative in Mayfield.

Mr. Rawlings is the grandson of Randolph and Laverne Rowe of Louisville and the late Ame and Mary Ola Rawlings. He is a 1999 graduate of North Bullitt sports_high_school and a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He is employed as a public finance associate for Hilliard Lyons.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Saturday at Western Kentucky University.
