Kevin and Colette Laurent of Princeton announce the engagement of their daughter, Celeste Anne Laurent, to Aaron Glenn Harned, son of Rick and Ginny Harned of Paducah.

Miss Laurent is the granddaughter of Ray and Bessie Crochet of Pierre Part, La., and Pauline Laurent of Greenwell Springs, La., and the late Sebastian Laurent. She is a 2007 graduate of Caldwell County sports_high_school in Princeton and a 2011 graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green with bachelor’s degrees in agriculture and journalism. She is a freelance journalist and photographer.

Mr. Harned is the grandson of Betty Hendricks of Paducah and the late Jake Hendricks, and the late Joe and Juanita Harned. He is a 2007 graduate of Reidland sports_high_school and earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 2010 from Western Kentucky University. He is employed by Harned’s Drive-In.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 3 p.m. May 28 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah.
