SYMSONIA — Mr. and Mrs. David Curtis Gardner Sr. of Symsonia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Olive Garden and a trip to San Antonio.

Mr. Gardner and the former Roger-Anne Heath were married April 3, 1961, by the Rev. James A. Fisher at Broadway United Methodist Church. Their attendants were Bobbye Kaye Heath and Larry Thomas McClure.

Mrs. Gardner is the daughter of the late Mary and James Butch Heath.

Mr. Gardner retired from ISP in Calvert City. He is the son of the late Mary and Glen Curtis Gardner.

They have two children: David Curtis Gardner Jr. and Jason Heath Gardner, both of Symsonia; and three grandchildren.
