BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Bobby English of Benton recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Patti’s restaurant in Grand Rivers.
Mr. English and the former June Dunn were married Jan. 28, 1961, by Lake Riley at Oak Valley Church of Christ. Their attendants were Joann Steele Will and Joe E. Story.
Mrs. English is a retired rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She is the daughter of the late J.D. and Helen Dunn.
Mr. English is retired from the family-owned asphalt business. He is the son of the late Luther and Velda English.
They have three sons, Jeff English, Brian English and Brad English, all of Benton; and five grandchildren.
