BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Edwards of Benton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 23 at Walnut Grove Church of Christ fellowship building. All friends and relatives are invited.
Mr. Edwards and the former Jane Story were married Jan. 29, 1961, by Paul Hodges at Walnut Grove Church of Christ in Benton. Their attendants were June Eaton and Ed Langston.
Mrs. Edwards is the daughter of the late Frank and Ada Story.
Mr. Edwards is a retired banker. He is the son of the late Solon and Mahala Edwards.
They are the parents of Jill Henson and Joy Dimitri, both of Benton, and the late Janet Edwards. They have two grandchildren.
