James and Kim Francis of London announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Leanne Francis, to Devin Travis Hall, son of Gayle and Wava Hall of Calvert City.
Miss Francis is the granddaughter of James and Peggy Parkerson of Lebanon, Tenn., and Shirley Francis of Nashville, Tenn., and the late Robert Francis Sr. She is a 2007 graduate of North Laurel High School in London and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Louisville.
Mr. Hall is the grandson of Jackie and Marlene Travis of Calvert City, and Don and Pat Hall of Palm Bay, Fla. He is a 2004 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton and a 2008 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn., with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He is a third-year student at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at Maple Hill Church of Christ in Lebanon, Tenn.
