GOLF -- The Calvert City Golf & Country Club is accepting entries for the Lady Bird 4 Ball Golf Tournament on May 22 with a 9 a.m. tee time. Entry fee is $140 per team or $35 per person and includes breakfast items, range balls, golf, one mulligan per person, lunch and prizes. GOLF -- Golf Demo Day: Drake Creek is hosting a Ping Golf Demo Day on Friday, May 25, from noon to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome and it is free to attend.

GOLF -- Entry forms are available for the James Marine/Banterra Bank Greater Paducah Amateur 2-Player Team Championships to be held at Paxton Park on June 23-24. Entry fee is $200 per team and entry forms may be downloaded online at, or picked up at the Pro Shop. The format will be a 36 hole 2-player scramble format featuring an optional skins game both days. The tournament will be flighted after completion of play.

GOLF -- The Lakeland 2-Man Calcutta will be held at the Calvert City Golf & Country Club June 23-24. This is a shotgun start at 7:30 and 1:30 each day, flighted after the Saturday play. Entry fee is $70 per person and includes practice round, range balls,36 hole tournament, tee gifts,and Saturday Calcutta dinner @ 7:00 pm. Rental carts are available for $15 per person. GOLF -- Junior Golf: Drake Creek Golf Club is accepting applications for its summer long Junior Golf Program. The program is open to all boys and girls ages 5-15. It runs on Wednesday mornings in June and July. Call 270-898-4653 to enroll.
