Roundtree lifts Patriots over Herrin

Massac 55, Herrin 51 - At Metropolis, Ill., Jalen Roundtree scored nine of his game-high 22 points in the third quarter to help Massac County get some distance from Herrin. The Tigers did take a small lead early in the fourth, but Roundtree and Dalton Mitchell sank their free throws late to seal the victory. Mitchell finished with 14 points.
