Trigg falls short at Russellville tournament

Russellville 56, Trigg 51 - At Russellville, after being down most of the game, Trigg County grabbed a slim lead in the fourth before finally falling to Russellville at the First National Bank Christmas Classic. Khalia Hampton provided more than half the Lady Panther offense with 31 points. Mallory Mize led Trigg's Lady Wildcats with 21 points, followed by Jessica Lovdahl (17) and Alison Russell (11). Trigg will play Spencer County in a consolation game at 11 this morning.
