GOLF: Benton Country Club will host its annual two-person scramble on June 25. It is open to all pairs age 50 and up. Mens, ladies and coiuples flights are available. For further information, call 270-527-9673.

GOLF: Silos Country Club will host the 16th annual Mid America Junior Golf Classic on July 9-10. It is a 36-hole event for boys 10-18 and girls 13-18. Feet is $65 and includes practice round, lunch and player gifts. For more information and an application, call 270-488-2182

SOCCER: Graves County High School girls' soccer practice begins July 15. Girls who will attend GCHS during the 2014-15 school year who are interested in trying out for the soccer team but are not yet team members should email the head coach at Mickey.McCuiston@graves.kyschools.us or phone him at (630) 561-0203.

BASEBALL: College Prep Baseball & Advisors will hold tryouts for the 2014 baseball season for players between 16-17 years of age. Instruction includes preparing for college baseball & the recruitment process. Players can not exceed 17 before Jan. 1, 2014. For information contact Lee Weglarz at 270-519-0209.

GOLF: The annual Kenn-Tenn golf tournament at Fulton Country Club will be held June 28-29. This year's event is its 75th. Prizes, a free gift, trophies and free food for the golfers will be provided Saturday and Sunday and a party will be held Saturday night. Golf carts are available for rent or you can bring your own. BASEBALL: The Trigg County Youth Athletic Association is hosting their fifth annual Summer Slam recreational league baseball tournament July 3-5 in Cadiz. This tournament is geared for all-star and recreation league baseball teams. There will be a tournament for 7-8 year-olds (machine pitch), 9-10 year-olds and 11-12 year-olds (live pitch). The entry fee is $150 per team. For more information, contact Brian Ahart at 270-484-6919.

SOFTBALL: The Trigg County Youth Athletic Association is hosting their third annual Summer Swat recreational league softball tournament July 10-12 in Cadiz. This tournament is geared for all-star and recreation league softball teams. There will be a tournament for U8 (machine pitch), U10 (machine pitch), and U13 live pitch. TENNIS: The Paducah Tennis Association will hold a four-week, adult-beginner clinic followed by four weeks of match play. The clinic will take place at the Chad Gamble Tennis Center at Paducah Tilghman High School from 9:30-11 a.m. The clinic dates are June 21 and 28, July 12 and 19. The match play dates are TBA.
