SOFTBALL: Tryouts for the Graves County Middle School softball team will take place at the Lady Eagle Field on the Graves County High School campus from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on May 22-23. Any interested incoming sixth, seventh or eighth grade girl who wants to try out, needs to bring a glove, bat, cleats, catcher's gear (if applicable), and any other pertinent equipment. GOLF: The McCracken County High School Volleyball Booster Club will host its annual four-person golf scramble at Silos Golf and Country Club on July 16. Registration is $300 per team with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. For information, contact Todd McKinney at 270-493-1049 or toddmckinney@comcast.net.

GOLF: The Mayfield High School golf teams will host their sixth annual golf fundraiser on May 30 at Mayfield Graves Country Club. The four person scramble will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m.followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Entry fee is $60 per player and entry deadline is May 23.
