Massac 13, Murphysboro 0 - At Metropolis, Ill., Massac County scored nine runs in the bottom of the third to ice its game with Murphysboro (Ill.). Jessie Douglas was 3-for-3 for the Patriots with three RBI while Jessi Stunson drove in two runs with a double and a triple.

First, Layne Morgan smacked a three-RBI single as part on an eight-run fifth that led to a 10-3 win. Karlee Humphrey was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI while Mallory Myers had four singles.

Humphrey pitched both games for the Tornado and really shined in the nightcap. She struck out eight and walked just two as she tossed a one-hitter in an 8-0 victory. Morgan, Caroline Robertson and Shaelyn Tyler all went 3-for-4 for Tilghman with Morgan driving in three runs and Tyler two.

Hogancamp struck out eight Bulldogs in the 10-0 win that was scheduled for five innings but ended after four because of the mercy rule. At the plate, Hogancamp was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

In the nightcap, Fulton scored thrice in the first, but the Bombers roared back for the 8-3 victory. Jayde Newton had three hits for the hosts while Rianah Fields earned her first win of the season.

Jeremiah White was 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for the Tornado on top of pitching the final two innings for the save. Reese Butler allowed one hit and no walks while striking out three Lyons over five frames for the win.
