At Goshen, Paducah Tilghman was scheduled to play in a tournament that was cancelled due to weather but three of the teams met at North Oldham High School for a couple of games Saturday.
The Lady Tornado won the first game 14-8 despite giving up six runs in the sixth inning, five unearned on four errors and two passed balls.
Karlee Humphrey powered a three-run homer in the fourth inning and Kayla Slagle won her fourth game for Tilghman.
In the second game North Oldham handed the Lady Tornado their first loss after opening the season with nine wins. Like the first game, Tilghman suffered an inning with multiple errors only this time they did not recover.
After Tilghman scored a run in each of the first two innings to take a 2-1 lead, the Lady Mustangs took the lead with two runs in the third. The Lady Tornado allowed two hits and committed two errors in the third. Neither team scored again.
Tilghman had the leadoff batter on base in each of the final three innings and stranded a runner on third to end the game.
The Lady Tornado return home to host Fulton County on Monday and Carlisle County on Tuesday.
