Lady Tornado threes lead to first Murray home loss

Tilghman 58, Murray 50 - At Murray, down by two at the half, Paducah Tilghman scored 20 points in the third quarter - mainly from six 3-pointers - as it handed Murray its only home loss of the season. It was the 20th win for the Lady Tornado.

Mariah Donelson, Karley Humphrey and Whitney Shaw each hit two 3-pointers in the third. In the fourth, Tilghman preserved its lead by going 12-for-17 from the foul line. Humphrey led the way with 17 points, followed by Donelson (14) and Alex Kohler (12).

The Lady Tigers hit 30 percent of their shots from the field. Maddie Waldrop was the tops for Murray with 17 points, while Elizabeth Grogan hit a pair of treys on her way to 12 points.
