Cardinals conquer Calloway in double OT

At Mayfield, Haley Ballard led the way with 20 points, including a 3-pointer at the end of the first overtime that forced a second, as Mayfield shocked Calloway County 70-67 in two overtimes on Thursday night.

Marshall Bacon scored 18 points for the Cardinals while Nick Felts and Taye Love each got 12. Felts got most of his offense from three 3-pointers. Skyler Hunter topped the Lakers with 16 points, followed closely by Connor Wagner with 15 and Parker Adams with 12

Mayfield 55, McCracken 48 - Samiya Kendrick dominated the offense with 26 points, including 7-for-8 foul shooting in the third quarter, as Mayfield downed McCracken County. Samantha Looper hit a pair of 3-pointers on her way to 14 points for the Lady Cardinals. Alex Smith topped the Lady Mustangs with 16 points.

St. Mary 66, Fulton County 41  -At Hickman, after both teams had to wait to play because of the tornado warning in the area Thursday night, St. Mary went onto down Fulton County.

Thanks to its press defense, St. Mary pulled away in the second quarter and outscored Fulton County 26-5.

Alex Durbin led the way for the Lady Vikings with 30 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Casey Kupper added 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Fulton County was led by Lucy Kimble's 17 points.
