MURRAY - Murray State hired Morehead State assistant Jeremy Groves as its head soccer coach.

Groves served as an assistant at Morehead since 2010. While with the Eagles, Groves helped lead the team to three OVC tournament championship game appearances, the 2010 OVC regular-season championship and the 2010 and 2013 OVC tournament titles.

Prior to Morehead, Groves spent six seasons at his alma mater, Kentucky. He spent the first two with the women's team and the last four with the men's side.
