The Madisonville resident said he received a message from God that he had some mowing to do after waking up one Sunday morning about a month ago. After funds for the individually owned and maintained plots at Elliot Memorial Gardens cemetery were depleted, the grass became overgrown. When Massey noticed the tall grass while out driving after church that Sunday, he began voluntarily mowing it.
