Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah achieved the Gold rehab standard from the Life Care Centers of America’s 111-point quality audit.

According to the center, each Life Care building undergoes an annual audit of its core rehab program that evaluates how the care unit works with other departments to provide a cohesive plan of care. The rehab teams are scored in four areas: environment, human resources, clinical programming and systems management.

Centers that achieve the Gold standard are recognized to have strong therapy teams eligible to develop a specialty program based on the community’s needs.

“It takes all departments to meet specific goals and criteria,” said Jenny Jordan, rehab services manager. “Achieving this speaks to the emphasis our facility as a whole places on rehabilitating our patients, and having a Gold standard opens doors for us to add specialties that will help us better serve our community.”

Parkview, 544 Lone Oak Road, is one of six rehab and skilled nursing centers in Kentucky operated and managed by Life Care Centers of America.
