Nearly 500 Lourdes associates pledged record-breaking support to Lourdes Foundation’s annual employee giving drive to benefit patients, co-workers, programs and patient care projects at the hospital.
Dubbed the Harvest of Healing Campaign, the fund drive raised $102,680 through donations of payroll deductions, cash gifts and unused vacation time. Funds raised during the campaign are used to provide funding for programs and services like employee assistance for those experiencing an unforeseen crisis.
Donations also benefit hundreds of indigent patients who cannot afford medication, a cab ride home, or other needed medical equipment. More than 200 patients received help in these areas this year alone.
