Western Baptist Hospital’s outpatient imaging and laboratory services are expanding to new locations.

The Baptist Imaging Center began offering X-ray and bone density services recently at Four Rivers Internal Medicine at 3131 Parisa Drive, just off Jackson Street.

When two new clinics open near the Kentucky Oaks Mall next month, Baptist Imaging will offer imaging services at The Cecil Clinic and Dallas Medical. Baptist also will provide laboratory services at The Cecil Clinic.

Images are sent from the off-campus locations electronically to radiologists at Western Baptist for immediate results. “Just as we provide same-day results for Baptist Imaging Center,” said Dr. Bradley Williams, radiologist, “patients in these walk-in clinics will get timely and expert results from our team of board-certified radiologists.”

Betty Brown, supervisor of Baptist Imaging, said the expansion into other locations offers convenience. “You can get radiology services without an appointment, as long as you have a doctor’s order,” she said.

Similarly, the outpatient lab services on campus and at The Cecil Clinic offer a walk-in service and timely results. “For blood work or other laboratory services, people will find these two locations to be a convenient option with quick results,” said Debbie Taffer, director of laboratory services.

A physician’s order is needed for any diagnostic test.
