Baptist Health Paducah offers heart health fair

With heart health month in full swing throughout February, Baptist Health Paducah will offer free screenings during a heart health fair Saturday.

Hospital staff will provide free blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings, and health care professionals will be available to answer questions from 9 a.m. to noon in the atrium of Doctors Office Building 2. No fasting or advanced registration is required.

Monitoring risk factors, such as blood pressure and cholesterol, is important in the prevention of heart disease, which remains the nation’s leading killer among men and women.

Baptist Health Paducah is nationally accredited as a Cycle III Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, also known as angioplasty.
