CUNNINGHAM — Zuleema Moore Puckett, 97, of Cunningham, Ky., passed away at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2012, at the Countryside Rehabilitation Center in Bardwell, Ky. She was born in Carlisle County, Ky.

Zuleema worked at the M. Fine Shirt Factory, the International Shoe Factory and the Florsheim Shoe Factory. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Young at Heart and the Women’s Missionary Union.

Zuleema is survived by her daughters, Sue Hays and husband Kent of Cunningham, Ky., and Karen Hill of Paducah, Ky.; sons, Dean Puckett and wife Dorothy of Cunningham, Ky., and Kenneth Puckett and wife Belva of Paducah, Ky.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Puckett; a great-grandson, Dustin Hays; a half sister, Jo Spicer; and a son-in-law, Wally Hill. Her parents were Dudley “D.D.” Moore and Naughchetty DeJarnatt Moore.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. David Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Cunningham, Ky.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
