William and Rose Marie Wurth of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Wurth, to Joshua Garland Grace, son of Garland and Kathy Grace of Tompkinsville.

Dr. Wurth is the granddaughter of Mary Elizabeth Wurth of Paducah and the late Charles Roy Wurth, and the late Herman and Rosella Krimple. She is a 2000 graduate of St. Mary sports_high_school, a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish and a 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Wurth is employed by the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.

Capt. Grace is the grandson of Mary Ruth Crowe of Tompkinsville and the late Cornell Crowe, and the late Frank and Julia Pearl Grace. He is a 1997 graduate of Monroe County sports_high_school in Tompkinsville and a 2004 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and sociology. He serves as commander of the Kentucky Army National Guard’s Charlie Battery 2/138 FA in Bardstown and is employed as the yellow ribbon support specialist for the Kentucky Army National Guard in Lexington.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. May 28 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Paducah.
