Charles and Karen Woods of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Deanna Woods, to Travis McIntosh, son of Ted and Tammy McIntosh of Union City, Tenn.

Miss Woods is the granddaughter of Relus and Nancy Woods of Paducah, and the late Elbert and Dottie Vaughn. She is a 2006 graduate of Reidland High School and is employed by Region’s Bank.

Mr. McIntosh is the grandson of James Robert and Jane Dugger of Troy, Tenn., and James William and Edna McIntosh of Union City, Tenn. He is a 2002 graduate of Union City High School in Union City and a 2007 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in marketing. He is employed at Family Video in Mayfield.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at Drake Creek Golf Course in Ledbetter. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
