MURRAY — Services for Woodrow Futrell, 97, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. today at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Jimmy Stom will officiate. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.
Mr. Futrell died Wednesday at Marshall County Hospital in Benton.
Mr. Futrell, a Navy veteran of World War II, was a retired maintenance welder for National Carbide in Calvert City. He was a member of Church Grove United Methodist Church and Temple Hill Masonic Lodge No. 276 F&AM.
He is survived by one daughter, Jeanna Robertson of Murray; three grandchildren, Debbie Moreland of Wingo, Sandy Pace of Hardin and Barbara Harper of Hazel; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Holland Futrell; four sisters; three brothers; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. His parents were Eucley Crit and Emma Houston Futrell.
