MARION, Ill. — Wilma J. (Baccus) Dudley, 80, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 2:58 p.m. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Wilma was born on April 11, 1933, in Karnak to Clifford and Tressie Baccus. She married Jack Dudley in Karnak on September 30, 1955, he preceded her in death on June 25, 2007.
She was a Christian and longtime member of the Third Baptist Church of Marion. Wilma volunteered with the Illinois Black Lung Association. She enjoyed crocheting and made hand crafts in her past time.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Jacklyn Dudley of Murray, Ky.; her nieces, Martha Veatch and Jennifer Baccus; her nephews, Michael Hall and Jonathan Baccus; her sister-in-law, Jane Baccus; and special friend, Marjorie Davidson
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother in law, Margie and Harold Hall; and her brother, Charles Baccus.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois, with the Rev. Scott Kallem officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
