Mr. and Mrs. William “Bill” Switzer of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 6 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.
Mr. Switzer and the former Caroline S. Sisson were married Feb. 3, 1961, by the Rev. Harold Council at Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah.
Mrs. Switzer is retired from Dependable Insurance of Orlando, Fla. She is the daughter of the late Ophie B. and Dorothy Sisson.
Mr. Switzer served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Delta Airlines. He is the son of the late William “Harry” and Elizabeth Hilke Switzer.
They have one son, Mark Andrew Switzer of Safety Harbor, Fla., and two grandchildren.
