MOUNDS, Ill. — Services for Willard Eugene “Buddy” Beasley, 66, of Mounds, formerly of Tamms, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Raymond Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Valley Mission Cemetery.

Mr. Beasley died at 11:01 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the home of his daughter in Mound City.

He was a crew boat operator for ACL-American Commercial Barge Company.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Jolley Beasley; his children, Dana Roupe of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Victoria Beasley of Licking, Mo., Jennifer Cook of Olmsted, Debra Beasley and William Beasley, both of Mound City, Willard Beasley Jr. of Mounds, and Linda Fossey, Dawn Beasley, Vicky Beasley and Brian Lentz, all of Wisconsin; three brothers, Ronald Beasley of Racine, Wis., and Donald and Jerry Beasley of Kenosha, Wis.; five sisters, Della Curtis of Tamms, Ruth Beasley, Beverly Lamur and Janet Phegley, all of Racine, Wis., and Kathy Curtis of Olive Branch; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents were Willard and Reba Mae Ralls Beasley.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
