Tom and Karen Wilkins of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaime Brittany Kay Wilkins, to Jake Andrew Amis, son of Mike and Tina Johnson of Paducah.

Miss Wilkins is the granddaughter of Betty Deweese of Paducah and the late Neville Deweese, and JoAnn Wilkins of Paducah and the late Ray Wilkins. She is a 2010 graduate of Heath High School in West Paducah and is pursuing a degree in nursing from West Kentucky Community & Technical College.

Mr. Amis is the grandson of Ollie Nichols of Paducah and the late Norma Nichols. He is a 2007 graduate of Heath High School and is pursuing a degree in professional aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is stationed with the U.S. Air Force at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, N.C.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Feb. 18 at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah.
