Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Green of Paducah will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family get-together at a later date.

Mr. Green and the former Ruby Nell Saunders were married May 18, 1947, by O.C. Thompson in Dorena, Mo. Their attendants were Robert Williams and Ollie Vee Zoller.

Mrs. Green worked for several years in the retail business. She is the daughter of the late A.F. and Cora Saunders.

Mr. Green retired from the Paducah Fire Department. He is the son of the late Charles and Eunice Green.

They have two children: Marilyn Adam of Lexington and Cynthia Stanley of Danville, Va.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
